  39. 'SWANSEA' is a high quality font containing full hinting for correct  
  40. rendering at small point sizes and a total of 107 kerning pairs for correct  
  41. character spacing. It is supplied 'as is' and no waranty is implied or given  
  42. by the author. The font is usable for both body text and for headlines and  
  43. renders well at any size from 8 point upwards. It is based on a printed  
  44. specimen of hot metal type of 'LUCIDA' supplied by The Monotype Type Foundry.

  46. The font contains a full range of upper and lower case letters together with  
  47. the figures 0 to 9 and a full range of punctuation. There are a limited  
  48. number of diacritics, some of which are non-standard as they have been  
  49. developed to take account of the additional characters necessary for printing 
  50.  
  51. in the Welsh language. It was hand traced in order to achieve a high quality  
  52. outline and compiled using Fontographer Version 3.5.2. Kerning information  
  53. was  
  54. added using the shareware program pfmedit.exe. This font represents  
  55. aproximately 400 manhours of work.
